LINE ONE is a Sri Lankan band Formed in 2015; the group consists of Shane Zing, Lashel Perera, Kanchana, Noor and Dammika. LINE ONE sound influences from many genres of popular music.

As of the age of 6, young Shane Zing has had a heart of performance, enjoyed music and began his journey unknowingly by entertaining his family with his gifted talent of singing. With his young age and inability to keep tune, he was always discouraged as he grew up. With encouragement from friends like brothers, and his own strong will and determination, he pushed through and worked toward pursuing his passion and desire.
A proud student of St. Peter’s College, continuously heard the school choir sing praises in the chapel, which echoed in his head every day. With his friends, Shane started a small music group and with their help, began to learn to sing in tune. This true passion and commitment toward music made LineOne a reality.
Shane is the walking definition of a true lover of music many would say, as a multitalented individual; apart from singing, his fluency in playing musical instruments has paved his pathway in the diverse music industry. His heart is set to rock it to the roots with LineOne globally, and be the best band on Earth.

Janaka Krishantha
Janaka, nicknamed ‘Jana’, was born in the Persian Gulf into a family of 4 children. And at the age of 5, moved to his motherland Sri Lanka, in order to grow up in the culture of his roots so as to not lose his heritage while living a high-end lifestyle in the UAE.
Being blessed with a voice made for singing, and rhythmic coordination with strumming a guitar, built his desire to be a performer.
He pursued his talent and developed it to meet the standard of the Sri Lankan music industry. He searched for the right combination of band and music that would excite him and to grow to be one of the greatest artists in Sri Lanka. It was then that he found LineOne, which was a great mix of a visionary leader and music that excited him, and he believed that the band will surely reach great heights.
He is sure of growing to be a respected vocalist like Shane Zing, and follow in his footsteps. His vision is to be a part of the success of LineOne as he believes the band will grow into an internationally renowned band.

Nipun
Nipun Identified his talent at a very young age and further developed and excelled under the guidance of His Guru Mr.Sachintha De Silva. He took his initial step in his successful career by joining Beat Drummers, a well known established band within the country. He widened his scope by gaining rhythm in Eastern, Latin and Indian percussions. He is known for his ability to improvise and create complex rhythms on the spot which opened him the opportunity of joining line one, a band that he always wanted to be a part of. Nipun is and will always strive towards doing his best towards Line one.

Niwashka Nithulgahamuduna
Niwashka Nawamina Nithulgahamuduna also known as Niwah, was inspired to get into music by his parents, both being acclaimed musicians.
Niwashka began taking music lessons at the age of six and was exposed to many different playing styles. His discography spans multiple genres, such as Funk Blues, Rock, Metal, Reggae and Soul. Apart from being a guitarist, Niwashka is also a Percussionist, Composer, Singer and Audio Engineer.
He gained recognition with his performance in Rupawahini’s ‘CokeRed’ television program. Impressed by his work of art Shane got Niwashka into his band, and he then began his professional career with Lineone. He is also working on his goal to become one of the most influential and greatest guitarists of all time.

Supun Kavinda
Supun’s love for music developed at a young age and began with a small keyboard at home. His sister would give him a song to practice before she left for school and would promise him a chocolate if he did so. And in order to win the chocolate he began to practice. This was the start of a great journey.
He continued to build on that foundation and created a presence for himself in his local area during his time in school. He was an active member of the Richmond College Orchestra and played as the Rubber Band Keyboardist. And later joined LineOne.
He is very fond of EDMs and his taste is incorporated in his sound designs and keyboard tones. Today he is the Keyboardist and producer of LineOne. His dream is to become a world-renowned keyboardist and give good productions to the world

Kaveesha Heshan
Kaveesha Heshan or better known as ‘KV’. He entered the field of music in early 2017 under the guidance of a great teacher, Prasad Lakmal.
He was a part of bands and began to upload his music on YouTube. Thereon, he met people that enjoyed listening and watching him play the drums. He then Joined the band, ‘Illuminati’.
The greatest milestone in his journey this far was joining LineOne this year. He gained popularity with an audience which loved and enjoyed their music.
His dream is to grow his career in music with LineOne, as it has opened doors for great opportunities of growth.

Dulan Ravindu
Dulan was born in the year 2001 in the Northwestern Province of Sri Lanka. He started Playing Guitar with the guidance of his teacher Mrs. Sharani Ramhari in the year 2016 then later on to furthure improve his skill he joined the local church band, All through out the journey his family was very supportive of his decisions, he later on joined a few local bands called New Freedom and Hard Black, which he eventually moved on from. One of his biggest Childhood dreams was to be apart of Line One and when the opportunity finally opened he took and the challenge and joined Line One, He mentions his favorite styles are Funk, Rock and Bules. He now wishes to do nothing but the best for Line One.
